New Project

Post by flatfourfan »

Pics will follow after the weekend, but I've been after this for a while and while it wasn't the bus that I planned on originally buying, it came along at the right price.........

It's a 1963 11 window Kombi, It's been hacked in it's life, but I didn't want something perfect as I want to do a few things to it anyway and don't want to be accused of making it worse.

I plan on doing a camper, but I want something that's a bit different.

Stay tuned.

Ps, I got it for free.........no engine, no electrics, but that's fine cause that's how I roll........lol.

^^^pretty much. It's lead a VERY hard life and has had the bulkhead removed as well as lots of shit added to make it into a kind of FT 70's wagon.

This is a LONG term project and I'll probably only start even thinking of touching it after the speedster is done and that'll be a year or so at least.

I'm making plans to get it home right now, but that seems to in the pipeline cause I have to finish the 2nd car port in order to have place to park it.

Pics on Monday..................

Update..................I gave the bus to my father in law as he needs panels and after closer inspection, the roof is pretty much 100% shot to shit.

On the upside, I was at IMPI's house this weekend and something caught my eye.
