Yes, very nice to see someone rocking a 411. Very cool man, although not quite a "hoodride".
When I saw the title, I thought, "Wow, a rusty 411, running as found body, with all sorts of rusted paraphenalia and stickers and spray painted decals all over it, scraping the road running on shiny BRM's or Empi-5's! Have to see THAT!"

This is a photoshoped image I just found
Again, not taking anything away from your 411, it looks great!

Re: Hoodride 411! (picture heavy!!!)
I agree, not the purist of hoodrides out there, although, the paint job is a true 1974 job, and although this was a one owner when I found her.. I didn't want to chop and do too much alterations on it.
The most work on it was the springs that have been shortend (thx van Zyls spring worx) (and I already have an origional standard set if I need to change)
stickers.... yes on the doors, but once again, respecting the car's age, and the previous owner who kept it in such a good state (complete with service record and handbook) i opted for no spray painting..
rust...mmmm yes a small bit on the front fender (not noticable) but then again, rust is not a crime
Thanks to all for the nice comments!!!

Re: Hoodride 411! (picture heavy!!!)
Well, it looks like a have a car too nice to be a 'hoodride' then.
It is like having a Peugeot, putting stickers on it, and fake air intakes and saying it is a race car.
Like this one that i saw a week ago
Although, yours is at least respecting the car.
If I may add my 2c, lose the stickers.
Nice ride man!

I think your car looks great! And I love seeing 411 and 412s around because I know the bodies just rusted away.

Re: Hoodride 411! (picture heavy!!!)
Thank you all for the kind words, and views!
it is MUCH appreciated, I feel like a proud father!
lol
I beleive it is either transvaal Benoni, or Boksburg...
I drove the car (without the GP reg plates displayed) for a while to run the engine in..
Its fun to see the reaction on the cops faces when they see me comming down the road

The paint looks brand new, lovely car!
Like the look you went for, especially respecting the car's well kept condition. Not something you see every day

Cool ride, looks like it had a previous owner that respected it as much as you seem to. Be good to see it out and about..... Maybe with some more rack furniture
