I am looking for either a complete, or parts for, and 1100 gearbox for 58 Ghia.

Will pay fairly to handsomely.

I'd like to keep a first option on this, but I have to figure out the logistics of getting it down to Cape Town from durban. If my logistics does not work out or I find something closer, I'll let you know

Hi jean, did you get a 1100 gearbox yet, I might have one for, need to check if my mechanic still have it. Its 1100 gearbox that came off my 1960 ghia and I has the mounting as well.

The Box that Jean is looking for split in the length of the box and not like a later type Beetle box
You can also not remove the side shafts as later boxes that is held in with a C Clip . This will help to Identify if it is the Box he is after
