Coming from someone who's spliced two buses together, that's quite the compliment. :D

Thanks for all the comments guys. "Speedy" is definitely the word  . I'm at fever-pitch with excitement to get it back now :D .

The quality of work is really outstanding. I do have inside info though and the proviso given to the guys by Pierre with regard to the work is that they need to get this one perfect so that he gives them his Fire Bus to do! . No pressure ;)

MORE PICS - courtesy of Pierre :hangloose:

Pierre mailed me late last night (no rest for the wicked  ) with these next gems :D

The message I got was as follows:

The whole bus was sprayed in MS primer.
Black spray was used to flatten and was sanded to check for imperfections.
Then the whole bus was sprayed in grey primer.
Apparently a few more niggly corrections were made here and there so touch ups of sanding and MS were needed.
Whole bus re-sprayed in grey primer yesterday afternoon.

Today there's a guy coming to sand and spray the inside. Only the "cabin" will be resprayed as the back I'd eventually like to have upholstered boards made for to make it a little more accommodating

All being well, we'll have a splash of colour this weekend :hangloose: . I'll be popping through to Pierre's on Saturday as I simply cannot contain the excitement any more :D

HI chaps!

Pierre has emailed me a few more pictures. Sneaky one he is as I rocked up at his place the past weekend and he hadn't told me it was in colour yet! I nearly rolled the car as I was in when I saw the Panel sporting it's new colours! I think he wanted to keep it a surprise  . The bus is looking absolutely amazing! Pierre took some of the shots and I too had a "mik en druk" when I got there. Have a look at the pictures and let us know what you think! :D
