Fit rear discs to Petrus to supplement the set in front and finish the Lightning Audio sound system.
Get proper inertia reel seat belts and re-do the carpeting.

Re: So...what are you doing on your car for 2012?
Well I don't know what is yet to come but what i have done so far is...
Replaced the rear brake cylinders on the beetle, and adjusted all four drums to a perfect fit, for the first time since I own this 71 T1 it feels safe driving, thanks to the braking ability....
Secondly, I restuffed the old driver seat with lots of foam, etc, and replaced my old seats, the higher ones, and now I can comfortably see over the steering wheel again.
Thirdly, I have sandblasted and painted the wheels that have been donated to me last year, and I hope you all like them as much as I do, I cannot wait to fit them, but I will let them sleep in the garage until just before George....
On the T2b, I have refitted all the seats and panels, sorted out all the electrics with the exception of the fuel gauge sender, I am not dropping the engine and pulling the tank for this. I am still looking for an alternative, maybe an inline clicker for measuring fuel used, and keeping a logbook, so that i know how much is left in the tank.
Attached a Pic of what I have done with my wheels early this year.

I promised mine I'd drive it more in 2012 than I did (or shall I say didn't) in 2011...

Is that you with the grinder?
Judging by the clothing it looks cold there.

Staying Aircooled is so much nicer.

Had the motor sorted after it fell apart one week after buying her!
Bad spark plug insert job burnt thru, so not much compression on number 2 piston!
On the bright side, now I can do it right!
New heads and major service done!

Re: So...what are you doing on your car for 2012?
Got a new member to the family... Bought my wife a Beetle that will need some TLC she's been standing unused for a couple of years. Brakes still need attention, Engine leaking oil at cooler (hopefully it will be sorted out by the weekend), Wipers park still need some work, Needs new tail lights, Carpets need to be made up, Body needs some attention but not to bad considering the long rest outdoors, have to go for road worthy test and change of owner etc.
My beetle still needs some mapping done, boost control solenoids fitted for low-high boost switch and some minor cleanup on wiring.
Very nice to be working on 'normal' beetle without to much complicated issues

I'll be modifying my fan shroud to accommodate twin webers
No sense being pessimistic. It wouldn't work anyway.
