Also spotted this item in my mates workshop.
He does a lot of restoration and maintenance work on vintage cars. This apparently tests and measures the breaking capacity of a vehicle. Going onto his current project, a 27L liberty tank engined car based on a vintage rolls chassis. Good fun.

Found this at Timour Hall today. The owner said if it wasn't sold today he would chop it up and try and fit it to his Beetle.
I think R200 well spent.
Also picked up an old needle Torque wrench for use on the lower torques.

Can't believe it Dave, did you buy that from Claude and Luke ? Last year I nearly had my hands on it at Timour Hall but they got it JUST before I could open my mouth
That is a cool score, AND they are selling it for just about the same price they bought it for - nice one

Sambas in South Africa are good for only 2 things: showing off and sunburn.

Not that great of a score, but got these for R30 yesterday...

Nice... You stole them for R30
Got me thinking that I must get round to sorting mine out and putting them onto my buses.
