Hi all Im Colin, I bought a 1972 beetle for my son and have discovered that I spend more time driving it and looking after it than he does.
It had only had one owner and she at 93 decided she no longer was fit to drive, it has 135000km on the clock and everything is still original.
The beetle needs some attention and I am hoping that all my questions can be awswered here with all you wise beetle owners.

How about introducing yourselves and saying hi???
Hi, took delivery today of my 1967 type 3 notchback, owned a 1969 1500 beetle and a 1975 1600 S (curved window) previously, as well as three Jettas and a Mk1 Golf

Must say the Type 3 notchback has already stolen my heart. Although in good condition it will be fully restored to its former glory over the next few months.

Hi all!
I bought a Beetle 20 days ago & am totally in love with her! Red 1972 1600 Twinport. Her name is Klara.

We went to our first Meet last night in Olivedale & I just want to thank all you guys - sorry, bad with names! - for making us feel so welcome.

It truly is a new lifestyle having a Beetle. I drive her daily to work & home. I do admin at Rawson Properties Hyde Park. Our office is in Parktown North. And as you all probably know, the always draw attention!

Hi Guys,

I'm new here. Many, many, many years ago I built a old Baja and now decided that it is time to tackle another project!

So at this point in time I do not own a beetle yet, but looking forward to finding a project car and starting the journey!!!
