So this guy who bought my fasty is now selling it for double what he paid and magically restored it in two weeks, while overlooking the gear syncros
and it has become a variant
Front suspension very low, steering wheel / hooter is upside down and the dashboard is cracked. Also does'nt look to have a motor. Plus you say gearbox is faulty. Not seen many of these around so one would have to import parts. I'll offer you R14k.
Thanks
And his answer
Haha:) You have a funny sense of humour...
When u serious u and know your cars better esp from pics,u can get back to me
Why do we celebrate the guy that invented the wheel??
Surely we must celebrate the guy tat invented the other three
The guy seemed really into the car and the whole idea of the AC's
I showed him a few pics of what I wanted it to look like and he asked me to send it to him.
He had a quick look at the car and gave me the money. He was driving the bmw that's on one of his
other adds(one with the mags). So I thought this guy will probably get everything redone.
The biggest problem for most on this car when viewing was the amount of oil it dripped.
The other thing was the body not lining up below the doors
The upside down hooter doesn't even work. Good thing I didn't give him the bentley manual with it,
also kept the spots, jack and wheel spanner.
So this guy tells me about his love for classic cars and how he will give me whatever to feel at ease then pay the car off.
Good l say, will do a lay-buy. Me will keep both money and car. It's safe parked here by my house. Has been parking here for 2 yrs
