In that case, seeing as I'm in Cape Town, you should get hold of Calooker on the site or contact Volkspares in JHB

Hi collytwin - welcome to the Aircooled VW South Africa forum 8)

As we say here - photos ASAP - or we don't believe you

Busses in South Africa rust just like other busses all over the world, have a look at some of the restoration projects in progress, just a heads up ....
Unless you are lucky and score a good deal, you will find that the busses offered for sale (which look to be in good nick) are getting pretty pricey here now ....
And I believe that getting vehicles cleared and shipped is also quite a wack - on your side as well - once it has landed ......

So do your homework, don't get taken for a ride, and most people here probably won't be too keen to see yet another ZA bus leaving our shores :( So you won't have sellers lining up. But dude we all have a common interest, and that is our passion for Kombis, so hang around, make a few friends and don't forget about the pics :hangloose:

Sambas in South Africa are good for only 2 things: showing off and sunburn.

Hi

My name is Bollie which is a nickname. My surname is Pienaar. My whole family are members of the Centenary Car Club. I am the secretary and he is the Vice Chairman of the club. We love old cars very much. I have a 1958 Fiat 1100d and an Austin A35 (baby Austin). My husband has a 1984 (I think) Jaguar XJ6. My son has a 1964 Ford Corsair. My daughter has a 1974 (I think) Ford Escort.

It was really by accident that I stumbled onto your website. I was searching for Any Damn Wheels and it took me to a post on your website! I saw the people did not really know much of Centenary Car Club so I registered to tell them exactly what is actually happening on our shows. I posted our event on "looklocal" and wanted to see whether it was fact displayed.

We raffled out a 1972 Mazda 1300. I wanted to place the photo of the winner on looklocal together with an article.. Their website had a problem and I ended up clicking on yours.

Hello from Vancouver BC Canada guys. I ran across your site whilst looking for a couple sets of Ross Style wheels. I have a small collection of VW's:
1960 panel van
1960 SC
1966 SO42
1964 Karmen Ghia
1954 Beetle
Most are in the progress-very slow progress- of getting put together. I will post some pictures and details later. If there is anything I can find for you over here let me know and I will try my best. Thanks dcuplover (Alp)
