That is definately Strand street and maybe Long or Bree Streets
You should know that as the buildings in the foreground are from the old quarry and the Malay Quarter.

Cool... I traded in my Golf L on a fire engine red CSL which I took delivery of on 21 October 1984 from them. There were not many Golf II 's around then yet and it turned a lot of heads.
