Mine is the other way round, ACVWSA loads the fastest and lotustalk and hotwheelsclubza are much slower. so really dont know why yours is slow.
From fastest to slowest:

Birkin race car, not much is standard
Lotus Elise 111R, almost everything is standard
'75 SP 1600 with a few mods
B8 A4 Avant tdi, towing made easy

Found that this forum loads fast when using Firefox, and Explorer is useless here, as it took at least 3 times longer to load with Explorer.
Staying Aircooled is so much nicer.

I'm using both Google Chrome and Explorer9 both running at the same speed.

I often find that it loads the header up to the crabtree/index quickly but the actual posts take a few seconds, like maybe 10-15 seconds to appear, this is in Chrome, and chrome has been acting up lately.

I'm using Firefox and it's slow as HELL, sometimes it just stops loading the page in the middle of a post, only way around that for me is to stop it and reload the page.. It's REEEEAAAAAALLLLLYY frustrating

After I posted my previous reply I had to stop and reload this page 7 times before I could see my own post, this is just ridiculous..

I have never (in the last few months) found that this forum loads any slower than others like Samba, STF, etc. Just checked, and it is even fast on explorer, (i have version 8 now). Previously has issues with an earlier xplorer version.

Think service providers, location and anti-virus programs may influence speed? I am at Mweb, (cheapest adsl option), use Avg free and Zonealarm free.

Using Firefox, Runs perfect, Maybe you should defrag and clean the hardware,
wire brush and all.......
No all jokes aside, had a slow system, cleaned it up, rebooted, and all works fine.
