Greetings all

What parts scavenged from other Watercooled VW/Non-VW engines could be used in a VW Type1/Type4 engine?
If it's too low, you're too old :twisted:

Not much. Engine management systems perhaps. And inline fuel filters maybe...

its basically a bigger version of the T1, just watercooled. Cam specs are different, but you can swtich the two, rockers can be switched. Linbore the T1 case to the T5 main bearing size and the crank fits, heads can be made to fit, dizzy fits,

I have used Ford 2L Pinto valves twice on T1 heads 42x36 1 set curently running as well as double valve springs from a 131 Fiat.
For what it's worth, ignorance has no limits ......
