What wrong with a Scoob in a VW. After you have built a Motor that attempts to put out its power at 10X the price, what left is original VW?
I believe that Subaru pays VW a royalty for every motor built. With Porche they building a Flat Diesel. Even the oil pump is in the same place. Somewhere on the net, ive seen scoob quad heads fitted to a Type4. This motor is built for power. This is a standard production motor, not a modified one. By closing the wastegate it will go to 400BHP. Then you can start modifying it.
If VW were still building VW's, and not DKW's, this is what they would be building.
But as I said, Im building a bug with a scoob motor in it, not a dragster.

Hi Guys.
I have been rather busy for the last couple of months and have been lurking every now and then. Hope all is well. The problem now is to find the time to read all the new posts. This is one active site.
Anyway I have loaded some more pics of this prodject.
Sorry again guys. Wildbugger removed my pics on their site. Pics removed but can be found later in this build (13 Feb 2009)
Cheers

OK You know the diffs between a VW and Scoob motor.
(BTW If VW still build Volkswagens today, this is what there motor would have looked like. Unfortunatly today they build DKWs.)
Lets explain the Pics.
The bug was a drivable car with a VW motor.
While still more or less together I widened the rear end, where you saw the vw motor.
From the bug that you see in the pics, only the body and front suspension housing is going to be used.
Cheers

SUE BREW BUG
Hi Tom,
Nice project you got. Did you import the adaptor kit or did you get it local. If it was imported I hope you took some measurments for the rest of us who might need it.
My 911 type kit car can do with Scooby power.
Thanks
BARON
Ps. Im posting an alternative powered buggy picture for you.

All this is still a mock up. The body must still drop by about 2".
