Eish, that's heavy! This seems like worst case scenario.Rekert wrote:Ok so lets begin.
Since my last post I've been working on the rear brakes, the holes in the floor as well as one or two other issues... only got enough cash together to pay the licence this month so gonna do that tomorrow. Yay! R5000 down the drain for the licence fees!
As promised... some pics.
Have you written a letter to ask to have the outstanding licences and penalties reduced?
I did it with my Fleetline, I can forward you the details if you need help. By simply writing a letter (with reason) and waiting for a reply which took 10 days they knocked R2 500 of the penalties off...
It's worth a shot.

My carb... looks new

Cleaned it completely inside and out. Now I just need the choke and the small rubber that goes here...

Anyone know what I can use there?
Anyhow... now need to fix everything else. Haha

But ja its basically in the not grayed out area

There was silicone on that part. So thought there was a rubber that broke or went missing.

I'm not familiar with that carb, it that the plunger for your accelerator pump? Maybe the silicon was there to prevent air leaking in... That would be a bigger problem then.
