Progress is slow, it is not easy maintaining two race beetle's and build a project. :D
I'm slowly gathering parts...

I decided to use the IDA manifolds and weld injector bungs onto the side. Instead of a carburetor on the top, there will be a boost box with a air inlet on the back. For now there will only be one set of injectors, we might add another set in the boost boxes later if needed.

Mehanol fuel pump :hangloose: Overkill you say??? :) This baby can flow 1000hp, which obviously I wont get to.

The flywheel has been sent to the engineering shop for lightening and then it will go off to dynamic balancing. We have found that on the big cc t4 engines you do need to make the flywheel lighter to save the flywheel bolts. It snaps flywheel bolts so clean off it looks like they've been cut with a grinder.

Looking good Louis.
Try source some 12.9 grade bolts. Those are nice and strong....
Anyway, here is what Remelle does to his flywheels when it comes to lightening them

I have done that a few times way back with the Flagbuggy then I got the crank and fly wheel machined to take Dell pins and that made a huge difference
