I was so Jealous I could not drive the Fasty when Johan took it for a test drive due to my leg but the Wive did and said it drove very nice

After lowering 2 clicks on the front suspension was the drive not hard or did you change the shocks as well.
Mine is a very hard ride, especially going over bumps or even just turning into the driveway.

Lovely car Brian,
Very nice colour too, and now you dont have to put the traditional trainwheel in the sparewheel compartment to keep the nose level !
Glad you are happy with your motor, but bear in mind that the most important part of any good build is the preparation, and the machine shop that you used did a very good job there.
Make sure that you use a decent oil there Brian - Like Castrol edge sport 10W60. most service organistions dont use expensive superior type oils when doing servicing unless requested or provided by the ovner.

Thanks folks, going to just enjoy her for a while.
The tyres touch at full lock and when going over bumps at speed or 2 up, but this should go away when I move to lower profile tyres at the front. I did change the shocks.
If I keep the higher profiles at the back it will have to probably go down a notch. We'll see...
Forgot to add that this was done by Pierre's team in 2 days, even with him out of action.

Also, ensure that the steering geometry remains in kilter, otherwise the can can become unpleasant to steer.
Sometimes it is required to fit castor shims and longer bolts on the lower front beam to re-instate the self centering function when coming out of a turn

the sprintstars are lined up Blitz.... just looking for some 185/55's going cheap. I am not going to refurb them, rather run them ratty.
oil is the Fuchs Titan supersyn 5w50 that I supplied, but I see Pierre is using Fuchs as well.
Will check on the steering Bill, but so far all good..... couldnt resist taking her to work today.

5w50 synthetic sounds like a good grade for modern tight tolerance motors with all the fancy valve control systems that they all seem to have these days.
Clattery old and new aircooled motors with thier large clearances shaky oil pressures and relatively high operating temps
can really do with the added protection a 60 grade type oil.
