How old are they?

Just know that they might be perfectly fine, they might also disintegrate on you......
How they are stored does play a role, however the rubber in car tyres is affected by age - and given they are made with average annual kms in mind, not hobby use we can't really expect more.

Many tyre shops overseas will no longer fit any tyre older than 6 years no matter whether 'brand new' or not for this reason.

BTW Before anyone goes shooting the messenger: I run tyres that are older on some of my cars. Just consider yourself forewarned.

Barry,

I have absolutely no idea how old they are. They've been in storage for many years with me, stored upright. I'm in the final stages of moving, hence the offer.

I had a cursory look at them and concluded that the tread was very good and that no cracking was visible, to my eyes. I do prefer that buyers check them out themselves though.

There was a stored of set of X-plys for one of my buses, which I intended using when it went on display, but they did not age the same and were subsequently discarded.
