Left hand drive

Ok so I found an oval, it's left hooker but the dash set up is rhd. Why would the car have rihand drive set up in terms of dash layout but be a left hooker? Owner claims it original as purchased by them manny manny years ago ? Any ideas let me know

Are you saying the glove box is on the left and the speedo on the right? Pics would be useful.

Maybe it's a RHD body on a LHD chassis?

Yip exactly that , glove box behind wheel, speedo was on rhs but owner moved it . Even carpet kit is rhd and it is the original carpeting , can see this by dip switch location. Very odd, pity it been raped by adding one piece windows ,1835 motor etc etc .

Myt offer a very low price cos of non original spec , see how it goes then retrofit a 1200 and rhd the car

Easy conv, to RHD all you need is a RHD pitman arm and pedal cluster the rest will swap over no problem.
