Sweet Pea to the rescue

Post by Warwick-Lowlight »

With all the strike action here in Grabouw
recieved a very distressed sms from Peter - the Malawian that helps in the gardens here on the farm, on Wednesday evening that was was stranded and feared for his life
He had been beaten up by the some of the mob and possesions taken
He was very happy that he still had his life passport and work permit

Managed to pick Peter up in a quiet area in town - the Township arae was a mess with the Police trying to disperse the masses from the air with shots being fired from the helicopter

Set up Sweet pea for him as his home for the last two days
After patrolling the area for wednesday evening I came back to a beaming Peter
Asked him how he had slept and the reply was that he had slept so deep he even had a dream !

Seems all has calmed down in town at the moment and Peter has gone back to his friend to see that all is good

Sambas in South Africa are good for only 2 things: showing off and sunburn.
