The paint job is finised.All that still has to be done is the polishing and buffing.

All the rust has been cut out and replaced with new metal.These guys worked through the night to get it finished.

did you get some pics?... was it welded in? custom bent sections or flat sheets?
I face some metalwork at some stage, is why I ask..

The guys used flat metal that was cut to size and bent till it fitted.Tig welding was used to make a proper joint.All in all they did a fantastic job.

She's home.Now I can really get into her.I have already fitted the new headlights.I also got the new air inlets on the back of the body from the laser cutters today.Testerday I goy my new lenses for the taillights and found some nice EMPI's to go with that.
There is still a lot of work ahead.I can't wait to do it.

Yes,I do have a day job.I deal with all these people that manufactuers parts.I am a metal broker,so I know who to talk to,to have parts made is easy and cheap.The laser cut intakes cost me R300 and was worth it.I'll post some pics when they are fitted.
