Just measured.... roughly 2-cm lower than other project car.....i will be doing some sort of skid/protection plate for the back...to protect gearbox and sump.... ..some pics of other prject car.... roughly 3.5-4 cm from ground to sump and lower control arms...

What you are doing here is putting your and passengers lives at risk. When a type 3 is lowered more than 2 splines you are running out of travel in the ball joints and this binding could cause them to break
This is the reason that seriously lowered cars all over the world run king and linkpin front ends as this binding is not present.

Hey Impi thanks for the advice, not a daily driver, more of a cruiser not doing more than 60 or so ,for now.... but will def look at upgrading the front.. been doing a bit of research and from the magazines, looks like alot of type 3 overseas is running type 1 adjustable beams (narrowed beams) with dropped spindles... and some mods to the mounting points for shocks etc so doing a bit of homework before i go that route... most mods...short shocks ect will be done on my other pan thats being rebuilt.

What did you use for the whitewalls? Are they inserts or did you have them done by somebody?
Thanks for compliment , its the whitewall tyre paint that was advertise din hotrod sa, guy in dbn is the agent.. ill send u his details if u want.... took lots of masking tape and insulation tape to get them round , works very well and durbale from all the crap i had with touching, never really peeled or anything yet

I cant comment on the longevity of the whitewall tyre paint... so far so good.. no cracks or peeling..and it rubbed on the arches before some mods were done, scrubbed it with a scowrer 2 times now.. all looks well so far.. will update and give a run down on the paint after a few months.
The paint that cracked on your tyres, was this purchased from Wade in DBN.
