I had a custom 4-2 free flow exhaust fabricated by Noise Boys in Bloemfontein that came out by the exhaust cuttings at the back which sounded and looked fantastic!
Now my old man purchased the new motor which was fitted last week Monday by VW Trends in Pretoria and it should be going for its first service this week.
Now with its first service my dad is having heater boxes put in aswel 'cause he says he knows how it can be done.
My problem is that I have read that they are restrictive. How do they restrict and how much will they restrict with this exhaust? I know you do get high flow heater boxes but not going to even consider buying now.
How much power are we looking at losing? Aswell what are the actual benefits from this exhaust:?:
I do want performance out of the motor but won't do major mods to it as it is just been purchased. I will be putting in electronic ignition and any other bolt on products that will only improve the overall motor. I want to first get all running gear functioning and able to operate at 150%.
I must admit that I always feel I am utterly useless on a VW motor. I keep reading this forum in all sections (even the guides) but the more I read the less I seem to know. It is extremely frustrating.
Help is always appreciated by this clueless youngling
