Post by Donovan D »

I have this roof rack thats not being used. Needs the 4 rubber end pieces.
Dont know what this is for but seems it can fit beetle. It only had the one bracket when I got it so I just made the other one today.

Hi where are you situated?

Will it clamp on with those brackets?

If its still available after his visit I would love it. But I'm in the north west (vryburg). It probably won't fit it in a car?

Depends on what car you have, it should fit if you fold down the rear seats and I'd say anything bigger than a chico golf should work. Will keep you updated

Some useless info:
I have one of those, it will not fit a beetle without lengthening the feet about 60mm on all 4 corners.
The one I have is fitted to my Notch but I had to extend the feet 25mm.
The brackets will need a little work too, not complete, as they are they will not hold, the original one in the pic has a hole on the side, that is there to take a bolt which holds a flat plate against the rain channel to keep the bracket from sliding off.

Hope the info helps. :zhelp:
