Re: Thumper is organising a car show
Think we will have to get the PE crowd to make this trip as well.
Maybe "The Other PE GUY" can bring his Gaywindow with the shower, and I can bring my Doctors bus with portable toilets.

Sambas in South Africa are good for only 2 things: showing off and sunburn.

Re: Thumper is organising a car show
Update time:
We have had lots of positive responses thus far. The Wildbuggers (Beach buggy club) will be there in force. Thank you guys for commiting to the date already!
Lots of Aircooleds owners have confirmed that they will attend as well. It looks like the ACVW scene will dominate the show!
The cars that have a better than average chance of showing up:
The Land rover club will be there. A KTM XBOW, and ARIEL ATOM, several Mini Coopers, (from the 60's) a few V8 Dragsters, Some Clubman racing cars, A Cape Hell Driver's car, one MG, Ford Mustangs, also a few motorcycles. One VW Kubel. a 57 Chevrolet, a hotrod, a Porsche 911, A Ferrari. A rather interesting Land Cruiser, (Old Bakkie doublecab) with a Cummins engine, and completely electronic dash...
There are a few more clubs, both Motorcycles and Cars, that have been asked, but no reply as yet. It looks like it will be a well supported day. the only concern may turn out to be the weather.
There will be a jumping castle for the kiddies, a craft market for the ladies, an informal 'restaurant/coffee shop' set up in the school hall. stalls with automotive products... Biltong for sale...
Thank you Tony an HR for your help.
Hope to see you all there.

It seems to me that my buggy will be sprayed but the interior will not be redone. So are half a buggy welcome?
