At the campsite we paid 62 Euros for the 5 of us for a two night stay. The guy on reception who spoke perfect English told us to pick our own pitch apart from the ones crossed off on the plan & then return to tell him which one & pay.
Most of the plots were flat but some had a slight incline. We picked plot 124 which had a very slight slope but plenty of sunshine & right opposite a shower, washing up & toilet block. This was ideal as we could wash our dishes in the sinks provided with hot water rather than in the van. The pitch has fantastic scenery & facilities inc a very large out door swimming pool with hydro slide, it has an ice rink a large kiddies park & strangely a cemetery. I believe you can use the cemetery without camping
Once we had set up camp we had tinned spaghetti bolognaise, super noodles, fresh new potatoes & tinned rice pudding in true camping style.
Once the dishes had been washed (it was my turn) we visited the park & walked around the local village, which up until 1944 was a Nazi stronghold. It was liberated by the American army in 1944.
I then used the site free PC to upload some photos into Photobucket before returning to Milly for chicken curry & nazi goreg & nan bread for tea followed by some fresh fruit salad for desert. We played another round of Yahtzee & Uno before retiring to bed at 2330:-
