Herman I think you are right,just get it running the paint job was done by the previous owner but not the best but it will still look ok.
So I will do as you say and get it running use it and go from there.
Do you know if you can still buy new sleeve kits and bearings for the 1200 around the Gauteng area.

1960 has the dished steering wheel 1959 was flat.
