Hi guys,
I've managed to track a 1980 Vw kombi at a scrapyard. My question now is wil the parts on that kombi work for a 1977 one? specifically a rear bumper?

If that is a January to + - March 1980 kombi, then yes. If it's a later 1980 kombi, then no.
The later "box shape" kombi's were introduced in SA during 1980, so both shapes were made that year.
