Thanks, it is my friend Joggie who is doing the restoration. These are /were all his cars (sold the green convertible and red oval), he restored / customised them all. He has also done some work for members n this forum.

THE DOORS (FINAL)
The doors have been aligned and the windows and trimming have been fitted.
The old door panels have been fitted temporarily until I can find someone that can redo the door and rear panels to look like the originals

Hi, for the interior, I don't know if you are near Cape Town but Jurgen of Grand Slam did a great job of my panels and seats making original repos.

I haven't posted for a while but here goes the latest update on Oupa:
Oupa's Ticker
Oupa has a 30HP engine. I have removed the engine covers and fan housing so that they can be sanded and sprayed.

Oupa's Ticker (continued)
We decided to clean the engine with a pressure washer. It seemed like a good idea at the time as we got rid of most of the dirt and grime but I will let you know later why it was the wrong decision or rather that we went about it the wrong way.

Oupa's Ticker (continued)
I started sanding down the metal bits and sprayed it with heat resistant spray.

Oupa Returns Home
At this stage I want to explain that we moved to Centurion and that a year has since passed. Fast forward a year +. Oupa returns home.
We loaded Oupa on a trailer to take him home. He was all bright eyed and shiny when we picked him up. While we were driving home I could not believe that Oupa was finally coming home and I just loved the sight in the rear view mirror.
Once we arrived home, we opened a bottle of "bubbly" tot celebrate the occasion.
