DIGITAL TIMING LIGHT EQUUS 3568

Post by calooker »

This was given as a gift but I already have one, these sell at around R1100 local, new in the box.
This is a exellent tunning tool, you can set your timming perfect no guess work can check if it's advancing and by how much, the Rolls Royce of timing lights.

A tip Mr Fig---

Your new tester---------

Dont ever connect the + lead to the coil terminal that goes to the dizzy ( Term 1 / Minus term )

The coil primary will spike your meter and blow it to smithereens !

Preferably dont pick up a supply anywhere near the coil

The gennie + term Is a no-no as well as it can rise to great voltages when you rev the engine.

The B+ term on an internally regulated alternator is OK .

Or pick up a supply at the starter or battery -Pain in the neck, I know !

Already paid hefty school fees for this lesson
