Having just finished converting my 72 crossover De Luxe bus to a camper, with full interior and proper westy roof what should turn up but an original one family owned 72 crossover Westfalia. :D It has a virtually complete original interior, good canvas, only the kitchen cabinet has been altered, and a somewhat rattly engine. I am having it cut and polished to see how much of the original paint I can save, and just have the minimum sprayed.

It is still showing its old Transvaal number, but all the paperwork was up to date!! So now my finished project will have to go. All I need now is a side tent??

Sweet westy Jake! I'm looking for a steel westy sink if you have a spare. Someone else also posted in Wanted yesterday looking for westy interior bits. :hangloose:

Sambas in South Africa are good for only 2 things: showing off and sunburn.
