Thanks for the link Hubcap! Roy Hesketh was also the track where VWSA set a couple of new 24hr speed and endurance records in 1969 using 3 411's called Jakkals, Wolf & Adoons

In the early 70 s I had the opportunity to race there on a bike Mainly Easter week end races. I actually got paid 75c per lap in 12 lap races.
Slept on the grass next to the bakkie and had a jol every time.
Des North and his other club members always made us feel welcome. It was good times and a pity there is not a track down there anymore.
