You and your cousin 'selling' you the boot rack ignored Vw62 beetle and then Retrovan (according to his posts here)
Up to you usual shit stirring... how much longer will this go on?

I take offence to this post of yours - Looks like you're the stirrer with this postMuderick wrote:He means you a piece of work young chap...

Not that I need to explain any of my dealings with anyone, but since you feel the need to stir...
I contacted jetta16v after other parties messed him around, PM'ed him, whatsapped him, we reached an agreement.
I drove yesterday to meet him, paid him what he asked, I bought that rack from him fair and square.
Why make an issue where there is no issue?
Willing buyer, willing seller.
That is all.

Funny how you conveniently ignored this post in your haste to make me look like the bad one.

You know the rules... much better than the seller does...
Cogita, backed off when he saw 2 other people intersted before him... did u do the same?

LOL what rules are you talking about? To check with people before buying something? Since when does one have to do that on any forum?Muderick wrote:Not me Blitz.... only you...

Being interested in something and actually stepping up with the cash - two different things.
I don't have to explain my actions to anyone.
if anyone else wants to question this, please PM me. I am not willing to entertain this any further.

Re: Old school Boot rack SOLD
The boot rack is sold. Drop it now. Ive been speaking to Herman about the rack. Sunday morning I sent him an sms and a pm asking him if he still wants it. No reply. I told Blitz in the morning that Herman has 1st option and that I would let him know later. After not hearing from Herman I decided to give Blitz 1st option and he took it. Came down to 1st come 1st serve. I dont have time to wait for someone to let me know whether they want it or not.
And I only recieved an email from Brandon this morning

Re: Old school Boot rack SOLD
Sorry, can not stand back anymore.........
Was going to drop it after working out that some guys are worth dealing with and others not.
As Muds said, when some one has said he will take it, it does not mean it should be sold to others, the correct thing to do is to allow that person the time to do the deal,or it should be placed as 1st come, 1st served.
I told you I will take it, after you asked for more cash., you then promptly sold it to your buddy, who did not come up with the money fast enough to your "instant gratitude" way.
Then YOU contacted me, and offered it to me again, I once again said I will take it, offered to take the roof rack as well, if I liked it.
Now, unlike some persons I work, no, not at a desk, on the internet all day like some, I work in a noisy factory, Restoring damaged machines that others have abused, and have to work 16 to 18 hours a day, to get them going, so that I can spend one or two days with my family for Christmas.
So after your persistent, SMS's, I looked at the photo of the roof rack and declined it, stating that I will again take the Boot rack, do a EFT, and collect by courier on Tuesday.
Thank God it was a public holiday, and did not do the EFT, because who knows If I would have seen my money or the roof rack ever again.
Next time, when you post, please stipulate that you are short of cash and need to swing the stuff, immediately, then we know to rush over sounding the horn, and flashing lights, with cash in hand, to ensure its yours.
Sorry, will only deal with Gentlemen, with ethics, that were brought up with the notion that your word is your honer, and something to bank on.
I have worked out Blitzes manner, and will now place you in that same class.
I have spoken the last word on this issue. Thank You.
Herman

Re: Old school Boot rack SOLD
Dude, no need to be a BOX (Mod edit, unacceptable language for a family Forum
) Why must i tell everyone that im in need of the cash? Thats my own personal issue.
So, if you wanted it so badly, why didnt you reply to my sms's when i sent them seeing as you were not in the busy factory working on noisy machines? If i want something from someone, i like doing the deal as quick as possible, because i dont know if the person will find another buyer. I dont know how things happen on that side of the world, but in JHB, its very fast paced and it happens all the time. But you dont see me having a bitch fit.
Im an honest guy. You can ask anyone that has ever delt with me. I know what it feels like being screwed over by someone. Pay the money, and never see the goods. Im not like that. But i guess it doesnt realy matter to you, and frankly, i dont care.
Just wanted to state my story.
So please, in future, if you see an post by me, you can ignore it if you want, but if you really want what im selling, then get one of your JHB buddies to come collect it from me, seeing as im not a "trustworthy guy"
Im over this. Mods please lock

Re: Old school Boot rack SOLD
Check out the post from 62vwbeetle that would be brendan expressing interest and enquiring as to what you wanted for the item. To which there was no response. I emailed u as I picked up that there was something on the boil and wanted an answer as to wtf was going on and if it was still available. I dnt bargain ask MUDs or callooker I enquirer if I a want and I pay the asking price if. Believe it is reasonable.
