type 4 cylinder heads

Post by Blitzkrieg »

Have 2x Type 4 heads

take the 41mm intake and 34mm exhaust valves

Have been sandblasted.
No cracks
These are bare heads so they need valves etc
One of the combustion areas has some pitting etc - Detonation maybe?
Seats have been checked but I would personally redo them.

Pitting can be seen in this picture

I would prefer that the buyer inspects them in person before purchase.

Looking at around R1300-00 for the pair
Pm me or give me a shout - 0723377263

Just a minor observation:
In your middle picture the combustion chamber is the correct shape that was only used by the 1800 type 4.

The lower picture looks like that head has the combustion chamber shape as used by the 2L kombi.

Hope you soon find a buyer for your heads.
Staying Aircooled is so much nicer.
Do'nt assume anything- (While doing fault-finding).
