Just a light coat of clear, and it will buff out nicely.

That is exactly what I intend to do but first I am going to treat the body work behind the panels to antirust
Then dry sand the outside and then apply a coat of clear.
Hoping to do most of it this weekend.

No sorry was not me
I try not to go anywhere near Pretoria :shock:
Not that I have anything against the place, But I spent 2 Years there that were not very pleasant (no not at Pretoria Central prison)

I saw a notch being trailered that looked similar to yours. then there was a gent in a Doka behind the trailer. so tw vehicles in convoy both towing a VDub project. sorry just assumed that it was you as notches aren't that full up.

anyway it had a similar rust job. seems to be a popular look...lol :hangloose:

Update on this thread

Took leave last week to do some chores at home and had a bit of time to some work on the Rat and am happy to say that it is 95% done carpets are back in seat belts fitted, all the lights work

And most importantly it is licsenced, RW and in my name

Now all i have to do is fill with juice and we can go
