If they the same as the Type 3 overrides, then i have newly refurbished original German vw sets (front and back) that have been deep chromes for excellent protection.

make me an offer.

Herman,
thanks, have sent a PM. FFF, I think I'm sorted thanks.
PS: Herman, I'm not 100% certain of these terms, and what they're actually called, but these units are for mounting without that small bar at the top, which I think are overriders.. SO there's no cutaway on the top of these (pictured) bumper guards, only the cutaway for the bumper. If yours are identical to these, bargain. Perhaps you can take a pic or two and post to confirm please man?

gracias..

Herman,
I've checked online, the type 3's look very small and squat in size. Please could you post a Pic of what you have, and I can make a call from there.

thanks

Herman, thanks buddy,

Those won't really fit this bumper without a lot of mods.. I'd rather not butcher them to "almost" look right. Thanks for the offer tho.
I'll keep looking for the taller Beetle guards.

Regards

I believe they are pre- 60's, 50's etc.. for a bladed bumper which I want to fit on the Speedster.

Alan

You only get the two types of beetle ones. The short ones

Image

and the tall ones with over-riders. These ones have a flat front which won't look kosher on the speedy.

Image

You're after these ones.

Image

Vintage has the right parts, but yeah $125 for 2 excluding shipping is going to be R3000 - R4000 when they land for 4.
