Hi all you Beetle fans. My name is Geoff and live in Waterfall KZN. I recently bought a VW shortened beetle on auction and now the excitement of getting it up and running again . It is really short with no back seats. Looking to share and learn all about theses rides.
Hey guys, firstly thanks for a great forum. Its very nice to see so many people loving our famous Horizontal opposed monsters I recently decided to start my own rebuild,The Porsche Special. So this forum will help me a lot seeing that I've mostly been building planes so this would be new although the engines are basically the same.Always had my buggy with a 1600 Twin port and wanted to make it special. So again thanks guys
Hi my name is Wimpie thanks for exepting me on the forum . I am a boer and normaly use english only for self defense so excuse my spelling. I adore vw s and have had a couple. My latest is a 1960 beetle that Ihave just bought but with no engine. I will start to rebuild it now and hope I will get some good advice and tips here.
Wimpie, ek sien jy is van Vryheid. (Noord Natal).
Staying Aircooled is so much nicer.
Do'nt assume anything- (While doing fault-finding).
