"I have a COMPLETE Hazet toolkit (round) for a beetle . Condition is immaculate, all tools present and unused. All tools have small Hazet sticker yellow stickers on them. Flocking in good shape. If you know what this is you will know the value if not google to see what they are selling for. Make a realistic offer ! If I deem your offer good will email photos."

Yes, the seller seems to be trying to wring the max out of it (and why not?), but I wouldn't make an offer without seeing what I was buying. From his description it sounds NOS.

Check thesamba.com for range of prices on these. Complete sets in unused condition are going for upwards of USD1,200. A forum member bought one in that condition a few years ago for R6.5k. So R7k sounds like fair value, but only you know whether it's worth that much (to you).

MY last kit I sold 2 months ago sold for R6,5 K to a local JHB guy... a forum member last year bought 2 NOS kits for almost R18 K each... So make him an offer Terry... obviously depending on the condition, like Fig says, they are a good investment.

Have found that if you remove the "made-by-date", the "use-before-date" is ineffective, and the "expiry-date" disappears.........
