My question is this - would the process of registering the vehicle as a built-up vehicle be relatively straight forward, or can it be a year long nightmare? I need to decide if it would be worth the effort to buy this vehicle...Any advice would be appreciated

Registering Kombi bought without any papers
So I may possibly buy a kombi which has been scrapped about 30 years ago and has passed through several hands since then. No papers at all, but the current owner has taken it to the police clearance centre and managed to get an official to check the vehicle on the system. Neither the body or engine comes up as stolen, but of course they cannot issue a police clearance without any form of paperwork.

Derek,
Call me or Shaun - we have both had experience with this. It is too long to type all the bits
