Can any of you recommend a concourse-quality traditional panelbeater?...

ie: one who hats filler/Bondo as much as I do?

Preferably in Jo'burg, but I may be persuaded to travel...

A rare species, hard to find and not seen anymore, I know someone, I will get you his details, he ran a small shop, but sold and started working from home, he did a lot of restorations of clasic British cars, made his own pannels when needed.
For what it's worth, ignorance has no limits ......

Bad news, Phil Howie Restorations is no more, Phil past away late last year, you can contact my mate Tino at Major 2 auto body 082 556 8728. He restored a Aston Martin DB6 to better than new condition last year, the thing was a basket case when he got it, he hand mabe all new pannels including frame bits. You must insist that he himself works on your ride, he is a real character.

Hannes Schnetler in Witbank, He's doing my bus, he's not cheap but he knows his stuff, I'll post the number tommorrow. He drivers the 13b rotary beetle with cookie cutters and a rag top that's always at shows...........nice guy.
