I respectfully disagree and I will tell you why...Doekle wrote:best you get empi ones @flatfour in killarney gardens !,cheaper and better than original,

There is no way that anything with the name EMPI is better than a good 2nd hand part. A good 2nd hand hubcap will always be cheaper and better than an EMPI one. The original ones have a better fitting profile, made from superior steel, does not rust as soon as it rains, and is not a tinny as an EMPI item.
Get the ones from Hendricks... even if they have big dings in them, as those can be pushed out easily... as long as the chrome is good, they are good to go..

Hi Alan
I have three of those hubcaps. They have been repaired and re-chromed at Sheffield's. They came of my notchback. The edge of the hubcap is slightly thinner than the kombi ones. I ended up fitting 4 kombi hubcaps as the 15 inch rims were replaced with 14 inch kombi rims. Pictures of the hubcaps here: http://www.aircooledvwsa.co.za/viewtopi ... 74#p246990

Re: Hubcaps Wanted.
Thanks MrT,
Let me see what Hendriks has first, as I need all 4, and preferrably all of the same condition, design, etc.. Will come back to you once I've seen some Pics of Hendriks?
thanks.
