Timing is everything! Those buses were relatively complete and good looking compared to most of the split buses for sale in SA these days. If any of those buses were on the market today asking price would be R50k!

Not that it would be impossible to be given a split bus fro free. Good luck with your hunt! :hangloose:

I knew this topic would peak your interest Mark. As Fig says they are out there...

All 4 buses were in better condition than the SC you bought down here in CT Mark... so good luck buses are still to be found. Thanks again to Fig for the buses.

The last bus is still in Buddy's possession down here in CT.

Hi

I still have the split screen that Ferdi donated to me after he had issues picking it up himself

I have build a double garage for the split screen,, I bought a few spares and plonder on the splitty as time is available
The bus should be on the road end of the year or beginning next year,, I long time realized not to put time frames on this project as it sometime takes 3 times longer to do certain things

Currently have a small beetle project that need finishing as well

Will update my bus build thread soon
