Old ones they are so much easier to clean unless you like washing rims of course.
But the new ones are nice I must say, tough choice to make there Tony.
The "old" ones looks much nicer to me. It's more rounded shape better fits the rounded shape of a beetle. If you have some spare money to throw around, maybe get a cht/egt gauge like the TC2 from MGL avionics in Somerset West. Use that in your panelvan.
Nice hangar. Was that your latest building project?
Staying Aircooled is so much nicer.
Do'nt assume anything- (While doing fault-finding).
Those are the rims for my 1302 project when I finally get around to it. So the choice is whether to fit them short term or not.
The hanger/garage is part of the ongoing build here, house is priority, so garage isnt complete yet. More to follow later in the year...
BBS style all day. Yes, they're a PITA to clean but they look the bomb.
Decide where you stand ... then stand there!
'62 Beetle (ongoing restoration)
'64 Split Panelvan (a 'one day if I retire' project)
'71 Bay Single Cab (motor built by TonyZ)
'71 Bay Double Cab (workhorse)
Your Beetle will look best on Deep Steelies.......
