problem is facebook is social media, which should be banned during working hours by all Companies for obvious reasons.. So that will count me out. But I commented on the activity thing a while back that it seemed "dead", and only the usual suspects still actively posting and helping others.
Even the KKK group on FB is "dead' for want of a better word.

No idea myself.. maybe it's "every man for himself" . ;-/

I'm on the hooligans page every day. I do find it to be the most relevant page for SA. Most of the other SA pages post too much pictures and videos from abroad which then just makes these pages irrelevant to me.

my biggest problem with the FB pages is that information is lost due to the lack of topics and search function.
We can look up something that was posted 3 years ago with very little effort... try finding a specific post like that on FB - or am I doing it wrong?

The Hooligan page is a lot more active but on this forum you get better technichal advise if needed. FB pages in my opinion is more casual with empty content. Almost like a comic book vs a magazine. Only my opinion.

I aggree with Tony. Searching is a lot easier here and I spend many hours going through old topics that is of interest.
It would have been nice to be able to upload pictures like on FB. I think we would have a lot more to look at if it was.

Agreed, its not easy to look for past posts. Forums will always be best for quickly finding useful info.

Several of these local FB pages has many internet experts, offering bad/wrong advice with little hands on experience, as well as a lot of BS claims & ads.

Don't have facebook but sometimes the forum is quiet and I hear that facebook is very active?

I prefer the forum and is here very often.

I check it out daily, FB seems to be more user friendly than forums....though there is a place for both.

I am sure that most people prefer FB. Personally I enjoy belonging to the ACVWSA forum, and prefer this to FB.

I honestly do not even know how to "work" FB
