Passed away of VW legend Ray Vallero of Vallero's VW Werks
Sad news. Ray Vallero of Vallero's VW Werks has passed away yesterday. He had a hart attack on Saturday night. Some of you guys may have read about him on forums like the samba where he is legend between the California beetle drag scene and was know for building really good engines and had a old Porsche 912 that he have set records up in the 70's and 80's. He was a really nice person. I spoke to him over Facebook weekly and always gave me tips and always had something good to say. I learned a lot of him and was like lecture with all his knowledge to a lot of us.

He was a absolute legend, was following a few buildup threads on The Samba about a Gearbox Build and Engine Build he was doing
