Looks like what I need too. Please do share where you bought it.

Thanks Tony, I'm good to go. All I NEED is a man to take my money and to hand me over 2 Fuel shut off solenoid\valves.. They seem to also be made of unobtanium..

Re: 12 Volt Fuel Solenoid cut-off valve wanted? LOCALLY in S
A few years back I made up a similar system to Tony's for my Sap hire from off the shelf security components. The only difference was that I set it up in such a way that it worked the other way around. When the system is “activated“ it was actually allowing you to start the car and when “ de-activated“ it immobilized it. The reason for this was that in the event that you forget to set it, some poor punk would think that it is in fact set and once he try to bypass it by taking the battery terminal off he would actually be setting the trap for himself.

So did you find any Alan?
Asked the wife to find out from 2 Autozones close to us but they don't stock it.

Re: 12 Volt Fuel Solenoid cut-off valve wanted? LOCALLY in S
Guys,
As mentioned earlier in the post, I can get these solenoids for R285.00 each. No minimum quantity required.
These are the things we use in immobiliser installations and in 20 years I never had one fail on me.
You'll just have to pay the postage.
I am in Centurion, if you want to collect. Just contact me in advance so I can make sure that I have enough stock.

Yes, this is what I said, too.... Do some effort, go to an immobiliser / alarm place, and get them off the shelve, at R200 plus.......jmvv wrote:Guys,
