36 DCD, Wheel adaptors & T4 Engines

Post by Wentzel »

I'm selling off some parts I probably won't use.

36 DCD 7 with DIY manifold R1200. Carb barely used but needs a good cleaning.

Wheel Adaptors R600 for all or R200 per set of 2. 15" Shattara mags (VW Polo) also available that will fit 5 stud adaptors but will not fit on std beetle due to offset.

2L Type 4 with upright fibre glass housing with external oil cooler, pulley and alternator mounting. Housing needs some work to cool properly. I was still gathering parts for an upright conversion, engine was not run with the carbs or cooling setup yet. Offers for engine and or carbs. Flywheel was changed and I was told it will fit beetle gearbox.

2nd 2L Type 4 engine was bought and is still in my Lolette Spider complete with flat cooling, Std carbs, distributor and alternator. Exhaust was modified for kit car. R3500

Hi I did not run the engine myself. I did remove plugs have a look at valve adjustment. Engine turns over and compression seems ok. If you or someone is intersted I will check what you want me to. You are welcome to inspect it and we can start it before removing it from the spider.
