For the Autovilla Enthusiasts, take a look at this extract below. I've never seen this one before.
Take a look carefully at the first picture, there are a number of very strange differences I've never seen on one before.
Lets see what you guys can find?

Large window behind driver and no sparewheel in front looks like most obvious difference in first picture.
Cooling air intakes- looks like louvres in the lower rear side-aluminium panel.
Staying Aircooled is so much nicer.
Do'nt assume anything- (While doing fault-finding).

Air intakes and middle louvre like Dawie said.
The numberplate on the nose section and not the bumper. Mabey the brown color on the front bottom of the camper. Think it was normally white.

Hubcaps are standard (on the top pic) - not Autovilla .....
I reckon this must have been Jurgen's prototype model

Also the cover over the fridge louvres, and the Autovilla decal above the number plate. I can't see clearly, but it looks like the wing mirror arms are also different.
Very interesting Sean.
I agree with jolas, must have been a protoype.

R5,200 for the manual and R5,500 for the automatic. I'll take 5 of each please!

That's about what I spotted too. Would be interesting to know if there are any on the road like this one.

Take a look at this Autovilla below, another strange configuration. Looks something in-between a 75 and 76 model.

Sean, who do you use to rebuild your Engines? Or do you do them yourself?

I do some myself for slow going projects, but otherwise I use Andreno Motors in Villiersdorp for engines and gearboxes for all my regularly used busses. They keep engines in stock, so if I need a motor quick, I just go exchange one.

Hi all - new to this forum. I'm looking for an early 70's Autovilla - the one without the "over-the-roof" extension. I've explored the for sale board, but can't find any. Please contact me on this forum or 0731717507, if you know of one for sale. Cheers
