Is there anybody around the Southern Cape or Mossel Bay for a gathering. We have so many buggy owners around but do not know each other.

Anyway, yes I've had the discussion with Anton from the Wildbuggers (in Cape Town) a while ago, regarding the forming of a so-called 'Sister Club' or 'Charter' in the area. (A similiar Buggy Club was formed in Witbank for the Mpumalanga area a year ago). Problem is that I do not have a lot of time for the administration at the moment, so it is nothing more than an idea. Personally I know one or two buggy owners in George and a few in Sedgefield, Knysna and Plett of who a few are not even staying in the area permanently. Perhaps if we can draw up a list (name, contact no, e-mail address etc.) of those who might be interested, we can take things from there? Experience have told me that one should rather call it an 'interst group' or 'community' at first, before referring to it as a 'Club'. Perhaps you can speak to the guy at the Hartenbos garage who build buggies and the one near Agri in Mossel Bay as well?

I will contact Phillip at Hartenbos and discuss, no need for a club, just a gathering every now and then.
I would also call Juan at JH panelbeaters he is also a buggy fan and is currently building 2 buggies. I will also ask to put up a notice at Philips garage and Juan's. Dont now if Andre at Bekkers auto will be interested, will chat to him.

As for the Pinas, as long as theres a Captain in it will go down smooth "Soos n maid met n mop"

I hope my front suspension is sorted by then.

Just a update, myself and Pine started a whats app group SCBBG Southern Cape Buggy and Baja Group and will post some poster though out Mossel Bay and George for a get together in September in Mossel Bay. If any one is intersted send me a PM and I will gladly joint you on the group. Not a club, just Buggy and Baja aircooled heads chatting and posting images and enjoying ourselves.
