Good day all
Does anyone know if the Hamburg radio made by Bosch, was fitted to a Beetle?, I recall the radio as a kid, but can't remember what car it was fitted to.This is a radio only.
Can someone in the know help out here please, greatly thankful
Peter
In the good old days of new aircooled Beetles, we lived in a world of choices.
None of the cars sold in the 1970's were factory fitted with radios.
You bought the car and then had the choice to have a radio fitted. The choice of the make of radio was up to you.
Sanyo was a popular brand with the Sanyo Rally the staple and the Sanyo Transworld the upmarket choice if you were looking for something with preset tuning.
The German brands were normally used in the luxury German cars and if you were an car audio god, you used Pioneer or Alpine.
