Post by fiona@ebm.co.za »

HI my name is Fiona

I am new to this site.

My main interest is to find a Type 14 Karmann Ghia models from 1960 to 1974 in good restored condition.

I am willing to pay for a good authentic vehicle and welcome any feedback from the group.

I am based in Johannesburg on the Westrand.

Many thanks

Fiona

Hi Fiona

For starters, you'll get a friendlier response if you properly introduce yourself in the New Members thread, as requested in your welcome mail. We don't take kindly to newbies who make offers on the family jewels in their first post.

Secondly, your post is not clear. Are you looking for Karmann Ghia models or actual cars. Your words say models but the context implies an actual car. Also, you are not clear whether you are looking for multiple cars or just one ...

Finally, we have a Wanted forum for these sorts of posts. Please spend some time exploring the site and getting to know how it's organised before posting.

We're also very sensitive about the one-way traffic of classic cars out of South Africa and we don't much like exporters on these forums. Your username is a ZA email address, but your flag is British, which will make many people here wary.

Good luck with finding whatever it is you're looking for.
